We like brussel sprouts anyway, but the sauce was very good. Sauteed the sprouts until crisp/tender and then added the sauce ingredients. Next time will pre-mix those as the ginger didn't disperse as well as I'd like (my fault), but the method change made this a one-pan dish. thanks for sharing.

Great recipe. I wanted to use more veggies than just brussel sprouts (I love them, but I knew the kids would be picking them out), so I added sliced button mushrooms, bell pepper strips, broccoli florets and onion. I thought there wouldn't be enough 'dressing' but it turned out to be a very nice, flavourful coating on the vegetables.

These were really good and easy to make. I used a pound of frozen baby brussel sprouts but kept the other ingredients the same. I didn't add the red peppers or sugar since others stated that the peppers were a bit much and I don't care for hot stuff. I also added another tablespoon of soy sauce. I used lite soy sauce also. I thought my family would complain about the sesame seeds but everyone enjoyed them on this dish. Nice change for brussel sprouts.

I really enjoyed this dish. Simple to make and actually quite pretty. I would cut down on the red pepper flakes as there was too much heat for the old man, so he didn't like this as much as I. Thanks!

Ooh, I just loved the flavors in this dish! I halved the recipe, but wish I had made the whole thing! I did leave out the red pepper flakes. Thanks! Update: I had forgotten I had already made this and made again. Yum!

I have been trying different recipes to convince myself that I like sprouts and this was a nice change of pace. Next time I will have to adjust the red pepper flakes to accomodate the kiddos, etc. Thanks for giving us another option for fixing them!!

We loved this...I love brussels sprouts and am always pleased to find new ways to prepare them! It was very easy to prepare, I made them exactly as directed and they turned out perfectly. I will definitely be making these again, and will probably use a full tspn of red pepper flakes, since I was cautious and only used half! Made for the Asian Forums Green, Eggs and Ham, 2008

I really enjoyed these. I didn't have sesame oil so I just omitted it. I also had to substitute Korean Red Pepper for the crushed. Will be filing this one for future use

We liked it, I used frozen because I couldn't get to the store for fresh, and only microwaved them for 3 minutes then sauteed them up in a skillet for about 3 minutes and got them a little bit charred and caramelized. They were tender but not crisp, but that was my fault. Next time I will use fresh, they're always better. And don't get me wrong, these were good! Made for ZWT4 and enjoyed!

Great brussels sprouts! I used frozen sprouts that were in the steam bag already. Didnt have fresh gingerroot so I used powdered and 1/2 teaspoon of the red pepper flakes but next time will add the whole teaspoon. Loved the sesame seeds too. Thank you Parsley for posting a wonderful brussels sprouts recipe!
