Wonderful! I love the blend of flavours in this. I have never used or even tasted cumin before this so I was a bit worried. It turned out to be GREAT. I had only one cucumber so I adjusted the amounts accordingly. I used a field fresh cucumber and didn't de-seed it as they are my favourite part. I enjoyed this thoroughly! Thanks for posting!

Fabulous and fresh cucumber salad. Great for the summertime - goes great with anything! Loved the addition of the cumin - I have had a similar salad that didn't have that. Of course, I mis-read the directions and added too much cumin, but it was still WONDERFUL. Thank you for another great side dish, Parsley!! ZWT3.

Made this for ZWT II. Very refreshing. I did use the minimum amount of cumin, only because I wasn't sure how strong it would be. Liked the mint in this.

Very refreshing summertime salad. The cumin seemed a bit overpowering.I used the full teaspoon next time I will try it with the 1/2. Loved the touch of mint. Thanks for sharing.

Cucumber salads tend to fall into two categories: tangy or creamy. This manages to do both. Really enjoyed the meld of flavors with the cumin and mint. Thanks. A word of caution, on my first batch I added too much sugar, not hard, and it made the salad taste more like vanilla yogurt with cucumbers than a savory salad.

A wonderful simple side dish to go with any Indian cuisine. I used the 1/2 teaspoon of cumin to be "safe" but I think next time I'll increase it a little. A little bit of salt wouldn't hurt either. This was the only recourse we had against the most spicy burger we've ever eaten - we served it with our Valley of Spices Burger and it was definitely a good match. Thanks for the great idea! We'll be using this one again.

WONDERFUL! A very refreshing salad that I served to accompany Chicken Vindaloo #24139-a perfect pairing! I did not use the sugar and I used 1/2 tsp. cumin, 1 T. mint, and a dash of celery salt. The mint was a delightful addition. Thank you so much for sharing this great recipe!!!

Adding the cumin definiately makes a subtle difference to this salad... I did add a little extra cumin and a lot of mint: I didn't de-seed my cucumber (I like the seeds very much)and it was tangy and refreshing addition to my evening meal after a long warm summer day. Please see my rating system: a wonderful 5 stars
Thanks!

I knew my DH would love this, and he did. I don't eat cucubers, so didn't try it, but I am giving it a 5 star based on the simplicity of the recipe and my husband's "Wow, this one is really good" comments!
