THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!My husband loves this better then the actual restaurant. We now spend 15.00 on a meal for four instead of 55.00 for the same thing!!!! Thanks so much! Finding anything my husband loves is not an easy task and he loves this!!!additonal comment: you can use already prepared ROASTED GARLIC found in your spice section at the grocery store to make this quick and simple. I use spice world brand!!!

What a great sauce! Very flavorful. It's a bit cold for grillin here, so I browned some chicken and then let it simmer a bit with this sauce. Everyone gave it a thumbs up, and no leftovers (a miracle in this house!)

I've been making this glaze now for a couple of years after finding the recipe on a copy cat site. My husband had it at TGI Fridays and wanted me to try to make it at home. The only thing different I do is, I skip the roasting of the garlic and either buy a jar of already roasted garlic, or I just substitute garlic powder and I've never noticed a difference in taste. Since we eat it fairly often I also have started quadrupling the batch and freezing it in small containers. It looses some of it's thickness by freezing but it doesn't loose it's flavor. This glaze is wonderful on grilled chicken. I haven't tried it on steaks yet but I plan to soon!

We tried this out over Labor Day. Had the kids over and they loved. Used it on wings. Can't wait to toss some 1" Porterhouse steaks on the grill and try it on them.

My fussy daughter thought the glaze smelled terrible when I was cooking it and didn't want her 'plain' chicken to touch the glazed chicken in the oven. Needless to say the glaze got on all of it while cooking and after tasting it, she was hooked on it! She finished up every last piece along with my fussy BF! I used the already prepared garlic to save some time and skipped the crushed pineapple but otherwise was perfect. Once you try it it will be a keeper! Thanks!

My family and I go to an American Diner in Northampton, UK called Buddies, they do a dish called a Moonshine Wrap. It consists of chicken, onion and bacon with a Moonshine (jack daniels) sauce. This is a better than exact relica, the alcohol content is slightly higher in theirs. So tonight, I fried off some chicken sliced chicken breasts (quite large chunks) with sliced onion and bacon, at the end of the cooking I added a few spoons of this sauce, with some additional sauce poured over the chicken before I wrapped it in its tortilla. Excellent*************

I've been making this recipe since about 2001. We were living in France and wishing for some familiar goodness. I found this on the internet in CopyCat recipes, and tried it. It works great! Tastes just like it does in the restaurant. My family uses it on salmon cooked on the grill, chicken, and sometimes on steak. I use the extra as sauce on the side. This is the best compliment to salmon you could ever hope for. My future daughter-in-law, who doesn't like fish, tried it and now loves salmon. I've found that I can reduce the brown sugar a bit, as 1 and 1/3 cups is a lot. In a pinch, you can use light brown sugar, but if you have molasses on hand, add a little of that to bring in the deeper flavor that dark brown sugar has.

EXCELLENT! I was thrilled that the recipe actually does taste like the sauce from TGIF. I followed the recipe just as written, and it turned out awesome. We use to have to wait until we visited our daughter to have this as we don't have a TGIF here! Now we can have the sauce my family loves so much any time we like. Thanks so much!

Thank you very much. My husband loves TGI's glaze so much that we have actually bought a bag of the stuff from them and I tell you what they charge an arm and a leg for it. Now my husband is happy to BBQ at home and we still get the same delicous results. Thanks again.
