I actually made this low carb by omitting the cornstarch and replacing the sugar with splenda. VERY good! Lawry's is my favorite and this was a close second!

If you are looking for the added punch of Lawry's, try adding celery powder to this recipe.

I didn't have any tumeric, and I wanted to make it without sugar to see how we like it. I won't even add the sugar, this was very tasty for us and I didn't miss the tumeric at all. Thanks for replacing my Lowry's!!! Will definately be a staple in my house.

Very nice! I used 1 T. Beau Monde Seasoning (has the celery flavor other's thought it needed) plus 1 t. more salt. Thanks for sharing!

Great, Thanks!!! Was in a pinch, not having any Lawry's, and this was so good, and super fast to put together, I won't need to ever buy Lawry's again! I took the suggestion to add 1/2 tsp of the celery salt, and doubled the paprika. Only thing is that I didn't have onion powder, so I just "upped" the garlic powder.

I grew up putting Lawrys seasoning salt on everything!! This was pretty good, but definitely not as close to the real thing as I'd hoped it would be. I added more paprika and turmeric because it was so much lighter in color than the original. I like the color for when I bake chicken. I also added a bit more sugar, and the taste is a bit better for me now! This still replaces the salt I've been able to find here in the UK, and I'm glad to have this recipe! I'll just continute to tweak it until it's just right. Thanks for posting this!

Lawry's seasoned salt isn't available where I live. I needed it for another recipe. I've never tasted the original but this tasted good. The recipe I used the seasoned salt in turned out really well. Thanks for posting this recipe Lennie.

Great MSG-free seasoning salt. It was looking just a tad pale, so I increased the amount of paprika and turmeric by half. I also added 1/4 tsp of celey salt. Very tasty!

I don't know what Lawry's salt is supposed to taste like, but I thought this was really good. I was making a recipe that called for Lawry's, and I didn't have any, so was really glad your recipe was here! Thanks!
