Oh Yes! Tarter sauce!!! This is really good. It comes together easily and it reduces well for smaller families. A great addition to fish.

Omit the capers? No way! That's why I made it. And tha's why it must be so delicious. I have used this three different delicious ways... On a fish sandwich, in fish tacos, and Dugan used it to dip french fries in.

Made some salmon patties last night and forgot to pick up some tarter sauce at the store. And god forbid I do not have tater sauce for my mother! (shes quite picky) so I ran to Zaar for some help. I didnt even have gherkins, capers, or even parsely but this still turned out great. Jusy added some celery and onion for some crunch and mom mom didnt know the diffrnce! Thanks for saving dinner!

Very good. I used my homemade relish instead of gherkins. My family gobbled it up with crab cakes. I love things I can make like this instead of buying tartar sauce with a bunch of preservatives in it. Thanks!

I really loved this! I have been looking for a really good tartar sauce recipie, and I finally found it!! I did make it a little more lowfat by using Smart Balance Mayo, and I didn't have any scallions so I used fresh chives. It came out perfect! I will be using this again and again.

I scaled this down to 2 oz since it is just the 2 of us, wanted to see how it turned out and I have never been a huge fan of tartar sauce, but my BF is. I really loved this creamy and slightly tangy condiment. I always thought tartar sauce had a strange aftertaste but that must be all the preservatives in the commericial stuff! I will never allow the bottled stuff in my house again! I did use the capers ( a must IMO) and used just a tad more lemon juice to brighten up the flavors a bit... Just lovely on some crab cake sandwiches I threw together for lunch! Thanks for posting!!!

Great just the way it is! Capers are a must, I would not leave them or anything else out.

Another 5 stars from me. I can't add anything that hasn't already been said. I made it exactly by the recipe and wouldn't change a thing.
