A good basic sugar cookie...I think dusting it with powdered sugar helps, or sprinkling with granulated sugar right before baking.

These are lovely "tea biscuit" cookies that smell absolutely wonderful while baking because they contain cardamom. The combination of vanilla and almond extracts in them is also nice. I sprinkled on granulated sugar and a little additional cardamom just before baking mine. Thanks Evelyn for sharing this delightful Scandinavian cookie recipe!

It just was missing something for us. I think I shoud have dusted it with sugar before baking. It was o.k.

These were easy to make. Usually I have trouble rolling out sugar cookies, but no problems this time. I did sprinkle with sugar before baking. I think some would make a nice frosted cookie as well.

DD and I had a lot of fun making these. They taste lovely, much spicier than your average sugar cookie, and I found I liked that. These are the kind of cookies that make your eyes roll back (like double chocolate chunk caramel wahoozies or something), but they are very nice after dinner, and definitely wouldn't be left on a cookie try at a party. I think I might make up a batch during the holidays this year.
Thank you!

Made these with my son for the SWT 2007 Zaar Star Challenge. Great recipe! The dough was very easy to work with and tasted delicious!! Cardamom is one of my favorite spices, and it really works well in this recipe!!

We really enjoyed these cookies! I followed the direction but didn't realize I was close to being out of almond extract, so I only used about 1/4 teaspoon. Everyone liked the cookies and I will make these again. Thanks Evelyn! (Made for ZWT3)

The scent of these is wonderful and they have a very nice texture, but they need a bit more sweetness. I made a simple powdered sugar/milk glaze which greatly improved the taste.
