Fabulous!! I make a batch of 16 cups of this every so often and store it in a large air-tight container. I use it anytime a recipe calls for Bisquick, with great results every time. I make it with whole wheat pastry flour and canola oil.

I've never been particularly fond of Bisquick (it has this funky metallic taste to it), so I was glad to find this recipe that also doesn't have hydrogenated fats. I substituted a baking powder clone for this and it worked like a charm. Because these recipes sometimes will change, to note, I used 1 1/4 cups flour, 1 Tbs baking powder subsitute, 1 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, and 2 1/2 Tbs canola oil. I'm so grateful that you posted this! Thank you, Chef 320096.

This was awesome! I don't buy Bisquick because of the partially hydrogenated oils in it, so this was exactly what I was looking for. Tasted wonderful, was easy, and my kids loved it, so it's definitely a keeper. I used this along with Crock Pot Shredded Chicken Breasts for Freezing - OAMC for Shortcut Chicken and Dumplings. I used the extra to make a few biscuits in the oven. Everyone loved them, and requested more. Thanks for such an easy and delicious recipe, Chef #320096! I found that doubling this recipe makes about 3 cups of Bisquick mix.

I made this to use in Mini Ham and Cheese Sandwiches, and it worked perfectly. I've tried "Bisquick" recipes in the past that worked well, but used shortening--I prefer using oil, so this will be the one I use from now on when a recipe calls for Bisquick. I mixed this in the food processor, which made it a breeze to evenly distribute the oil. Thanks for posting!

I didn't have any store-bought Bisquick on hand, so I mixed this up for Zucchini & Cheese Patties. It was simple to put together with ingredients I had in my pantry. I used canola oil instead of vegetable oil and mixed with a fork. Thank you for posting!

This was great. I wanted to make Chedder Bay Biscuits and didn't have any Bisquick. This was so easy and fit the bill perfectly. Thanks so much.

I love that fact that this recipe doesn't contain shortening. The only change I make is to use canola oil instead of vegetable oil. This recipe works so well that I don't even buy Bisquick anymore!

This worked really well. I can't get bisquick here so I'm really pleased to have this recipe. Thank you.

I love recipezaar, and a recipe like this is just another reason why. I thought I had at least a half box of bisquick, but found out I had only about half the amount I needed for my pancakes. This worked beautifully, thanks!
