Just so delicious and how could you go wrong with fresh strawberries from the garden? I used a special German wine that was given to us during the holiday season so this turned into a special treat in many ways. I sliced my lemons and floated them on top of the punch, and used some peel in the punch. The sparkling wine really enhanced the strawberry flavor and brought this all together. I easily halved this and was able to give everyone a nice glass of this bubbly drink and all was right with the world. Thank you evelyn/athens Made for ZWT4 June 2008.

Great Punch! The problem was to find a German Sparkling wine but finally I managed. The result was a great not too sweet punch that we all liked. I liked it mostly because its wasn't so sweet so it was refresing. And a great color as well. A great out of the ordinary punch.

This was a hopeful last minute drink I prepared it last night and got to sip it tonight with a Queen. Delightful and I plan to make the whole amout next week. I cut back on the amounts so I could do the recipe. This was just perfect. Made for ZWT$ challenge for the Chic Chefs.

This was a tasty punch. Very refreshing! I zested one lemon into the strawberries and reserved the other peel for garnish. The longer the punch sits the better it tastes. Made for ZWT4.
