My family loved this chicken. I used a Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Dunkel dark German beer and it worked really well in the marinade. The marinade was perfectly seasoned and flavored the meat perfectly. This recipe was a good choice for the Zaar World Tour 2006. Thanks for sharing.

I could tell as I made the marinade that this chicken was going to be great. I used Beck's Dark Lager. I marinated the chicken (I used a combo of boneless thighs and breasts) for 8 hours and the results were AWESOME! It has a wonderfully unique taste...not too strong or anything...just perfectly pleasant. Thanx for a great new grilled chicken recipe. I'll be grillin' this up for some friends and family this summer!

We really enjoyed this. The marinade was not too mild and not overpowering so it was just right for my family. Thanks!

This is an outstanding recipe!! My husband no longer wanted to eat chicken. Said it tasted like nothing anymore. Well your recipe has changed his mind. This was the juiciest, best tasting grilled chicken ever. I have started to brine my pork and chicken to improve the flavor. I brined 4 breasts for 2 hours and then put them in this marinade for 24 hours. This will now replace all the other recipes for Chicken on the grill!! Thanks for a great recipe. I am going to post it on the German recipe site!!

Scrumdiddlyumptious! Very quick and easy and oh so tender chicken! I marinated for 3 hours only and it was still beautiful. A lovely unique flavour that got the thumbs up from me and the DH (who's very hard to please). The only thing I did differently was to sub the peanut oil for olive oil and reduce to 4tsp (in accordance with WW core) and then I cooked in the oven at 190c because my george foreman thing drives me up the wall the way everything sticks to it. Made it with a white beer - Rebellion Blonde (from the microbrewery where my Dad works) and it worked a treat. A definite keeper!

Very, VERY flavourful chicken. I marinated for several hours ('bout 7). The marinade really permeated the meat and gave the chicken great flavour and a moist, tender texture. The kids loved it so it's a make-again.

DH and I made these tender BBQ'ed chicken breasts for dinner the other night. The marinade was so fast to put together, which I really appreciated. We marinaded our chicken for about 10-11 hours. We thought the chicken came out very moist and tender and was tasty. Our only alteration was that we used dijon mustard because that is what we had on hand. Served with German Potatoes as a side. Made for ZWT4.

Wow! This was really yummy and moist chicken with a crispy skin. I used a dark beer (Shiner Bock) and a dijon type mustard. The marinade went together so easily. I am helping dd learn to cook all different types of things since she is getting married soon. This was so easy to put together she managed with only a few questions for me. We made the marinade in a ziploc bag as suggested and then just added the chicken. Marinated for about 4 hours. The chicken did not taste like beer at all. I used some basil that I grew but didnt have all the peanut oil so I used what I had and added veg oil to make 1/2 cup. It was more veg oil than peanut. DO spray the grill with cooking spray before using as it does help the chicken to not stick. (they- dd & dh never listen to me about this one!) This is some terific and easy chicken and got rave reviews. This is so simple and can be waiting right in the refrigerator when you get home. Thanks for a great recipe that will be used again in this house for sure. Made for ZWT4
