Excellent pie! I made mine with Splenda and fat free half and half. It tastes so wonderful. I used a 9" pie shell and I think that next time I will double the filling. Thanks for a great coconut cream pie.

Man, I have made my share of coconut cream pies-my hubby's favorite dessert-and, let me tell you, this recipe was by far the easiest and best-tasting one ever. The coconut filling was perfect, no doubt about it. We need to take this recipe with us and travel north to Lancaster, PA and show the Amish how it's done. The last coconut cream pie I made was an Amish recipe and, after an afternoon spent of laboring over those hot burners and then facing a very messy coconut-splashed range to clean up, I seriously debated just buying a new stove. Definitely a keeper here.

Ohh... fabulous. I loved it, and it was super easy, esp since I bought the pie crust! I used real whipped cream, and toasted coconut on top. My slices stayed together quite well. Extremely wonderful pie!! Thanks!

Oh my, this is good! I've never made a custard type pie and this one was easy & quick. Excellent flavor-I used sweetened flaked coconut. Thanks for posting!

This was so easy to make. I was a little nervous about just throwing everything into the pot at once and cooking it, but it came out very smooth and creamy. The only change I made was to use fresh whipped cream instead of cool whip. My dad loved it. He said it was perfect! He ate two pieces after dinner and then took the rest of the pie home with him. Thanks for posting this. It's a keeper.

My 7 yr old daughter wanted coconut cream pie since it is iCarly's favorite. Those with little ones understand I am sure. It was super easy to make but super hard to wait the 4 hours to wait to eat it. We only lasted 2.It still was set but probably wouldve been firmer after 4 hrs. I topped it with real whipped cream instead of cool whip and added toasted coconut. Definitly will make again and again and again. YUM! Thanks for sharing!

Yummy .My husband Loves Sweets and he loves coconut even more. I prepared it as directed except I used soy milk and it turned out great. And so easy to do. This will be a regular dessert in our house. Thanks so much.

This was an excellent coconut cream pie! Very easy to put together with a rich taste. I never made this kind of pie before and thought it would be difficult, but it really was a breeze.
