16 Reviews of Peas With Lemon and Tarragon

From: GaylaJ

Nice combination of flavors that really brightened up simple baby peas. I cooked the peas for only about 3 minutes and just eyeballed the rest of the ingredients. Made an easy, tasty side. Thanks for posting!

I absolutely love these! The flavors are an excellent accompaniment to the peas. I didn't have lemon peel on hand so added a bit more lemon juice and used dried tarragon. I will definitely use this again! Thanks!

These were so easy to make and a nice way to dress up frozen peas. I used the dried tarragon as we just got back in town, and I was cooking from the freezer and pantry. I really want to try these peas with the fresh herb, as I didn't love the flavor of the dried tarragon. Otherwise, these peas were winners. Both kids ate them which is definitely saying something. Made for Zaar World Tour III.

Peas! Peas! Peas! Peas! I do love these little green guys! This is a wonderful way to serve them, too! The lemon adds so much, as well as the tarragon. I used dried tarragon in my recipe, and it worked wonderfully. Thanks, Parsley!

A nice, easy way to season & dress up peas. Given the season, I used fresh peas fro the local farmstand. Ooh lala!! Thank you for posting!

I cooked this for ZWT II...thought, hmmm...easy, and didn't really expect much...I was wrong...fabulous recipe, easy and it really turned a plain dish of good ol' peas into something special. I ate the whole recipe myself. Will definitely make again and keep this around for dinner parties!! Thanks Parsley!!

This dish was indeed quite tasty. We used dried tarragon, real lemon peel and lemon juice from a jar (don't ask why), but it was quite good. Nice and easy veggie side! Thanks!

These were simply delicious. Just the right amounts of every ingredient to add a little interest and pep but not so much it's overbearing. Really brightened up our plates at supper too. Thanks for sharing this with us. Yummy!

I liked this a lot. I find that tarragon is an acquired taste for many people and a little goes a long way. I'm still getting to know the flavours of this herb better and very much enjoy experimenting with recipes that contain it. That said, I couldn't yet eat this in large quantities or too often. Better to savour the flavour and not over do it. Please see my rating system: 3 stars for a recipe that I enjoyed a lot but am still getting used to as a flavour. Thanks!

This was a nice way to have peas, although I think mine may have been a little overcooked. Peas are so finicky! I will prolly cook them only for 4 minutes next time. Made for ZWT5, for the Groovy GastroGnomes.
