If all you have ever had in the way of a Margarita is the bottled mix it might take two or three sips of this concoction to convince you that you have been missing out. This has quite a kick so we preferred it with ice. Simply delightful. Thanks!

This was absolutely wonderful. In fact I had more than just one after, in the same day, running over a snake with my 4-wheeler, then being chased on my 4-wheeler by a herd of stupid cows. Yep, this was badly needed. thanks mama

This was an oustanding margarita. I used Jose Cuervo Gold and Grand Marnier. I think Herradura is a much better brand, but I bought what I was used to. This is the first margarita I've made at home and I've had many restaurant margaritas, none of which could be remotely compared to this one as far as I'm concerned. I really liked the beautiful color that the combination of Grand Marnier and lime juice made too. I do need more practice getting the coarse salt to stick to the glass. What I most appreciated was that there was no extra sugar in this to ruin the taste. I figured out that this is less than half the cost of margaritas I buy at restaurants, with much better ingredients. Thanks much Hope. I know exactly how I'll be using up the leftover liquor.

We loved these! Love the fact that it does not use sour mix and still has the sweet and sour taste! Great recipe! Daddy sure did good!

This is soooo good. It was a little sour so I put a little bit more of the Grand Marnier in it and it was fine after that. I only drank one but it was enough to give me a good buzz. I will be making this again. Thanks for sharing your recipe Mama!! Made for the March 2008 Bevy Tag game.

Lord knows I love a good margarita and this is another great recipe by mama! I chilled and strained into a margarita glass, with salt and lime of course!
