This is great-- easy to make with ingredients we normally have in the cupboard. I used about 35 grams of this mixture (same amount that comes in the prepared packets) to cook up just over a pound of ground meat. Thanks!

I've been wanting to try to make my own seasoning mix for a while so decided to use this recipe. YUM. I made enchiladas with it and the flavor was right on. Thanks for posting this great recipe mama!

Much better than the store bought packets. I split the paprika between smoked and regular and also added habanero pepper on top of the cayenne. I also added a tablespoon of cornstarch to the whole mix. I like my meat mix to be creamy/thick. I normally would have added some refried beans but didn't have any. Very good. Thanks!

This was perfect!!! I did not have any extra taco seasoning but wanted to make mexican rice to go with our tacos...I made this up and used it in the rice. PERFECT. And much cheaper than the little packets. Made for ZWT 07

Wonderful seasoning mix! This was very handy for me as I can't find Mexican seasonings in my town and if they do have them they are terribly expensive, so this was a really economical and convenient recipe.

The perfect mixture for that traditional taco taste. No need to buy that packaged stuff. I used it for Beef Taco Rice Skillet and it was great. Thanks for sharing Mama's Kitchen!

Made this tonight and used it to make Fiesta Chicken Taco Cups. Turned out terrific!! Loved the lower salt - I made exactly as written and used the increased cayenne option and doubled it. I also used slightly more cumin and would say I did not level off any spoons.
Delightful - everyone tonight raved over the flavor. Thanks for another keeper, Mama!!

Great seasoning! I live in Scotland and the package taco seasoning is kind of sweet....we don't care for it. I have been searching for a good taco/burrito seasoning and I think I have found it. Thanks for sharing~
