My grandma always made this cake, and my aunt made the lamb; something to look forward to after the Easter baskets I'm doing the bunny and a bundt bunny and chick cake that was "borrowed" from Bright Ideas. Thanks for sharing....kids (and adults) love this cake!

My mom made a bunny cake every year for us and later made them for her grandchildren. We looked forward to our cake and didn't realize how easy this really is. She used buttercream icing instead of canned, but otherwise it was this recipe. Thank you for sharing the recipe and bringing back memories. Happy Easter!

I made this cake for Easter,2009.Everyone thought it was SO CUTE!! My daughter thought the "fingers" should be down (see my pic), so it doesn't look like a SURPRISED bunny, but other than that, everything was great. Also, very easy instructions(diagram) on cutting out and preparing the cake. My 1yr. old niece and nephew REALLY enjoyed seeing a BUNNY cake. THANKS-
