Great muffins! I went crazy and added a chopped up apple and a half cup of walnut pieces along with the raisins. I also used brown sugar and decreased the amount to 1/3 cup because I don't like sweet, sweet muffins. They took 22 minutes in my oven. Definitely a keeper.

Wow! These are so moist and delicious, it's hard to believe they're quite light. I've made them several times with slight changes to mix-ins. Also I used soy milk and only whole wheat flour and they're still grrreat.

Yummo! Fabulous if you want a tasty wholesome muffin instead of a cake. I soured the milk with a little lemon juice, used 100% wholemeal SR flour, used banana instead of apple, 1/3 cup brown sugar and sprinkled tops with brown sugar mixed with cinnamon. This could be my new favourite muffin recipe!!!!!

These were really good for something that isn't bad for me!! These seem almost like a nice treat for someone dieting! I did the 1/3 cup brown sugar as well, and I sprinkled some splenda and cinnamon on top which turned out quite nice. I'll certainly make these again!
--I just made these again, this time with craisins, even better! I think I'll be trying blueberries next

These muffins were okay but I found them kind of bland. Maybe adding extra spices (like pumpkin pie spice) and some nuts would help. I wouldn't make them again.

I also found these quite bland. They're ok for a "healthy" muffin, but I'm not sure that I'll make them again, I'm sorry. If I do, I'll probably add a bit more applesauce and more spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg. Thanks for trying!

Was very good, the kids loved it. I found that it took longer to cook than the twenty minutes. I didn't have wheat flour so I supstituted 1/3 wheat bran and increased white flour to 3/4 cup. Very good recipe. Thanks

These muffins are great. I can't say that they are the best muffins I have ever made but for only 135 calories and one gram of fat, they are fantastic. I used brown sugar in place of the granulated sugar and I added 1/4 tsp of ground cloves. Next time, I will try reducing the sugar to 1/3 as many of the other reviewers have done. Thank you for the diet-friendly option!

These are truly delicious muffins! I used one whole banana instead of the applesauce. I also added a 1/4 t of nutmeg for a little more flavour. I ended up with 10 muffins instead of 12 somehow, and the bake time was 18 mins in my oven. DELICIOUS!!!
