Wow. Honestly, I thought I'd like this. But I didn't realize I'd love this. I used 2 kiwis and a frozen banana. I whirred that together first and then added the ice. I also added a little bit of splenda. This had wonderful flavor and texture.

I used 1 kiwi and 1/2 a banana (3 year old DS wanted 1/2 a banana). I used about a teaspoon of splenda instead of sugar, and 3/4 cup crushed ice. I wanted more when I was done!!!!! Next time I think if I use a full cup of ice, it will still have plenty of flavor. Thanks for posting a healthy, delicious summer treat!

Sorry I did not like this more...I love kiwi and I love banana so I thought it would be a given that I liked them together...I did not like the tartness that it gave the shake. Maybe if I try it with 1 kiwi and 3 bananas it will just have a subtle taste of the kiwi. I will try that later and change my rating if it works. Made for ZWT 07

I loved it! I used one kiwi and one banaba for the sake and I used half ice on the blender and added the rest at the glass. Kiwi are full of vitamines and this is a great way to have all those vitamins! Next time I'll add some milk and I think that the result will be a perfect shake! Thanks so much for sharing!

DH and I enjoyed these for breakfast this morning. Used 2 kiwi and 2 bananas and that worked out to 2 nice servings. Thanks Auntie Jan!

Tonight was the night to use bananas. This was good but add some other seasoning such as nutmeg, a touch or vanilla \, just a bit and....besides the ice if you like vanilla ice cream. Yumm!

You’re so right! Kiwi & banana & kiwi are very tasty together & I had an extra supply of both I needed to use. As the other reviewer said, this was thick & I found myself just eating it w/a spoon like I would for a pudding or ice cream. After all the rich & sinful sweet treats we’ve been eating, what could be better than a guilt-free fruit dessert?! Thx for posting.

DM and DS loved the combination. They had a little of it as a snack (so diabetic friendly) and froze most of it into popsicles. I used 2 bananas and 2 kiwi fruit and 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. I would also like to try a banana and rockmelon (cantaloupe) mix as well. A definite keeper. Made for the April Recipe Swap #3. Thank you Auntie Jan Christo for a great and very simple recipe.
