I have made this several times. It is so good. I usually substitute tabasco sauce for the jalapeno. But other than that a perfect recipe.

Really good and easy. I used canned chicken which made it even easier. I left out the jalapenos because I didn't have any and don't like too spicy. I did throw in a few frozen hash brown potatoes, but it was good before the potato addition as well.

Tasty, quick and easy. 3 wonderful words when you haven't got a lot of time. I didnt have any peppers so used a shake of chili flakes. The added cream style corn gives this soup a nice creamy texture and smooth flavour. Delicious!

Derf, I made this this afternoon for supper tonight for DH & the kiddos. Wonderful. I did leave the jalapeno & chili out as the kids dont care for spicy. Wonderful recipe! Thanks!

Made it for my kids and girlfriend. Came in after a nice day outside and it was ready and so were we. It was great !!!!! Put it together the night b/4 and then cooked it slow that morning.. The jalapenos added a nice flavor and a great kick. Thanks

I really liked this recipe. My family, whom usually does not like meals like this, ate it all up. The only thing I did different was to use green chillies instead of the hot peppers. Next time I may add a little broth to it before I add the milk to make it a little more soupy.

5 stars w/o a doubt, I gave my MIL the leftovers, her complaint-not enough onions! Well that's her, I've been slacking giving her our leftovers..I had the tendencey(sp) to purchase 'x-tra' to share our good eats w/her, and this recipe I did that. I was very short on time making this for my DH's lunch, I did use canned chicken, which is something I normally don't do. Recipe was very good, but it did lack pizzaz(2 me), but well liked by all others. Wanted to send a photo but they all looked liked winter/dark/hurried photos, not worthy for your chowder Thanks Derf!

One of my favorite ways to use up leftover chicken. It's great to have a corn chowder to make that's not too fattening and quite tasty just the same. The only changes I make are to substitute chopped celery root or sliced water chestnuts for the celery (I'm just not a big fan of the texture of cooked celery) and to skip the added salt.

I love this recipe! Very quick and easy to make and tastes better than canned chicken corn chowder. I did a few things different..I used nonfat milk, omitted the jalapeno and instead put a few drops of tabasco sauce in and I added about a 1/2 cup cheddar cheese to thicken it up a little more. The flavor is so yummy and this is actually pretty healthy for you! Thanks for this wonderful recipe Derf!

Simple and simply brilliant! Good base for leftovers and other variations, too.
