Mysterygirl- Thansk for sharing. How can you go wrong with heavy cream, garlic and butter?!? Did have to really drain the spinach so as not to dilute the heavenly base.

I made this for our Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, and everyone absolutely loved it. The only thing I did differently was to use 4 boxes of frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed out well, in place of the fresh; I also added a little nutmeg when I added the cream and garlic.

This is a delicious, creamed spinach dish. I substituted jalapeno cheddar (to give it an extra kick) for regular cheddar and decreased the cream volume to make it less watery. I'd also recommend pre-cooking the spinach and removing the water. I'd imagine that a drop of white truffle oil would make this a truly gourmet side dish.

I love, love, loved this recipe! The creamed spinach was much better than anything you'd be served at a high quality restaurant or Boston Market. I did not have mini casserole dishes, so I put the mix in a baking dish, and it came out just fine. I used two boxes of chopped frozen spinach, and drained it well after reading the reviews. I will definitely make this recipe again; it was absolutely delicious!

5 stars!! This is an outstanding recipe and it's easy. I washed the spinach in the lettuce spinner and did not have any excess water. Next time I'll use Half and Half so I won't feel like I'm getting so many calories. Excellent.

If you want to get the greens dried really good. Get a small cloth laundry bag, the kind you would put delicates in or panty hose. Rinse the greens and put into this bag. Put in your washing machine and put on a SPIN ONLY cycle. You won't believe dried it will get your greens. I do this to my lettuce as well. It makes your greens last longer if you do this!! Also, DO NOT put in plastic bag. That will suck the life from your greens.

This had a great taste, but a little watery. I thought I had drained the spinach very well, but I guess not because it was so watery. Still tasted great though. Will be trying this one again with special attention on drying the spinach very, very well. Thanks for posting.

Excellent flavor. The only trouble I had was it was too watery due to the spinach and I only had 10 ounces of cheese. Next time I will put the spinach in boiling water for a couple of minutes and then drain and chop as my third step. Despite that, the liquid was yummy too. I am going to serve this to family tomorrow and I know it will be adored by all. Thanks!

Love this! Very tasty and fairly easy to put together. My hubby loved it... and he doesn't like spinach! If you try one spinach recipe let it be this one! Thanks!
