36 Reviews of Walt's Teriyaki Marinade and Dipping Sauce

From: adena mangis

This was very good. I put it in the crockpot with some chicken thighs. They got a wonderful brown color and I thickened the sauce with cornstarch. This was so good my husband wanted to eat all four servings at ounce. Thanks!

Very easy to make. I didn't marinate any meat in it, instead I thickened it with cold water and corn starch to use with meatballs. Really yummy flavour, must be the honey instead of sugar! Definitely will be using again instead of storebought. Thanks for the recipe!

I use this recipe every time I make Easy Chicken Egg Rolls http://www.recipezaar.com/113223 and it always turns out great. Before measuring out the honey, I spray the measuring cup with a spot of cooking spray and the honey comes right out without any gooey mess. Thanks!

Brushed this marinade on vegetable skewers and boneless, skinless chicken breast...threw it on the George Foreman, and LOVED it!!! I saved a little of the marinade to pour over steamed rice. SUPERB!!! Thanks Walt!! ~Manda

I marinaded some chicken breasts cut up into bite size pieces with some pineapple chunks overnight. The next day we fired up the grill and placed the chicken & pineapple with some zucchini on skewers and continued to baste the chicken with the left over sauce. It was excellent. Very tasty. We served this with sticky rice. Great light meal with lots of flavor. Thanks Walt!

As a single, British young man, who is an intermediate at cooking (compared to many, many other guy's!), but never marinated meat before, this was easy and delicious! Recommend marinating for at least 6 hrs totally submerged! Great recipe.

Gosh, this was soooo good! I didn't marinate my chicken in it but I poured it in the pan and simmered the chicken in it for about 30 minutes ~ excellent!!! I made just as posted. This will be come my regular teriyaki ~ so much better than store bought. Thanks for posting a keeper!

This marinade is really good. I marinated chicken thighs in it for several hours. My neighbors and I grilled them on a charcoal grill. Very tasty!! We served them with macaroni salad.
