Jane I have loved these since I was a child. I usually whip sour cream and sugar together drizzle over the rolled filled creped and shove them into the oven for a few moments just to warm up the sour cream. It gives it just a topping. Oh my..Something luscious! Thanks for sharing this old time favorite!

My mom also made them for us growing up. We used jams and jellies and applebutter was a big favorite. I still make them and it was nice to know others are enjoying them too.

Palancinky was one of my favorite treats growing up. Topping these beauties with walnuts and strawberry syrup made me sooo happy...great recipe.

This recipe brings back warm memories when my Grandmother made these. What a treat for all us kids. I used strawberry jelly for the filling. Ahhhhhh....... Thanks again, Jane from Ohio.

Fine! I'm in Prague now and this recipe saves me 25 Kc to the local palacinky stand each crepe. The Nutella / Chocolate sauce is recommended. Also, be sure not to make the palacinky too thick, it's better to make a whole bunch of thin ones.

I am so happy to find this recipe. My Mother passed away last year without leaving me this recipe (She never wrote it down). We had this every holiday during my childhood and when we visited as adults. Palacinky is a much loved item in our family. My brother even named his dog Cinky to remember the love my Mom put into this wonderful Slovak treat. I remembe all of us standing in line in the Kitchen cause you had to eat them hot. I loved just butter and sugar. I have tried other crepe recipes but none have been the real Palscinky! Great recipe and I would give you 10 stars if I could. You have made my siblings and I very happy

Yum. I loved these as a kid, and have made them in the past for my own two. My Austrian grandma would fill the "palacinka" with a cottage cream and sugar filling, roll up, place in a baking dish, cover with milk and bake until the palacinka absorbed almost all of the milk. I have followed this recipe for the basic crepe and finished with the milk and it was great. Thanks for a great memory!
