This is a great recipe. I scaled it up because I had 2 lbs. of ground beef and it made 8-10 servings. The flavor was great. Yes, it could have been saucier, but the flavor made up for it! Next time I will just make more sauce! I didn't cook the sauce by itself for the 15 minutes because I was short of time, but I did let it all simmer together for a full hour. Yum! Thanks for sharing!

This was great. Made it a couple times, already. Most ingredients are usually on hand anyway. Beats the heck out of canned or boxed mixes.

These "Sloppy Joe's" are outstanding. My wife makes them on a fairly regular basis. Fortunately for me, I have an understanding wife. She leaves the onions out of this dish just for me because I do not like onions at all in anything. Not all of us do like onions in spite of what you onion lovers think. Join my club "OGRE". Onions and Garlic Ruin Everything!

What a GREAT recipe! I have used Manwich for years and the McCormick package. I wanted to try something new and this recipe was FANTASTIC. I changed the sugar to brown sugar and it was great! Thanks for sharing!

These taste just like my grandmother taught me to make, but I never had exact amounts, just "guestimated". By making the sauce by itself I was able to brown the beef in two skillets, one with just onion powder for the kids, and one with chopped onions and green peppers for DH and myself, then just pour in the sauce. I mixed the sauce in a four-cup glass measuring cup and microwaved it on medium, stirring every 5 min

This is a good, old-fashioned tasting slopppy joe recipe. The mustard flavor comes through strong and clear. I choose to make this recipe because I had all the ingredients on hand.

Wonderfully easy! My picky son loved it! He usually eats 1/2 a burger but he had 2 of these. Thanks for the recipe, l'll definately be making it again.

This was great! I used 2 lbs. beef, so I pretty much increased everything else. I also added garlic salt and minced garlic for some added flavor. My kids loved it and I'll be making this more often! Very easy and versatile, thanks for posting!

Quick, easy and good! Just a tad sweet for me, next time I will cut back on sugar a bit. So easy to make I'll never buy manwich sauce again. Fried my hamburger and onion, stired in remaining ingredients and simmered for an hour. For anyone that likes sloppy joes I highly recommend this recipe. Thanks for a keeper, Susan1.

This was wonderful, used only one pound of hamburger, but in the end was glad I did because the sauce was just enough. I didn't simmer the sauce either, just combined the ingredients for it and added it to the mix of hamburger and onion. It cooked gently for maybe a little more then half and hour, can't imagine it getting any better because it was already delicious! Thanks for the perfect sloppy joe recipe!
