I made this with sausage and served over toast and biscuits for a Sunday breakfast. Yum! I did add a little extra milk to get it to the consistency we prefer. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Pokey!

This was wonderful. I think it beats any store bought gravy mix. It was easy to make and all my children loved it. Thank you so much for sharing.

I would love this recipe for nothing more than its wonderful sentimental value. However, I love the taste, too! The only thing that I do differently is that I scoop the meat out of it's fry pan with a slotted spoon and then cook the flour in the meat grease instead of butter. Thanks so much for posting!
