I halved the quantity I made because it's not really Gluhwein weather here right now. I've never made Gluwein before; just enjoyed it! Very easy to make and I'm really looking forward to making this again in winter. I used orange juice and merlot (& no water). Very delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe, Kree. Wunderbar!

I make this every Christmas Eve! My husband and I enjoy it so much. I use a little less sugar and water, and sometimes I add a few lemon slices too. Great for cold winter nightw or holiday parties.

Excellent, and easy recipe! Much better than the ready-mixed bottles that I was used to, especially if you use a half decent bottle of wine. A success with wintery dinner and friends!
