6 Reviews of Korean Beef

Excellent. My husband loved this. I added a little red pepper in addition to the cayenne pepper and then a pinch of brown sugar to soften it a bit. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

This is delicious. Even my picky six year old asked for seconds! I didn't have any green onions, but otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. I marinated the beef overnight, then cooked it on the stovetop. It was very fast and easy. The leftovers next day were still very tasty. Next time, I will double the recipe !

This was delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful! I made the recipe exactly the way it was and it was wonderful! Thanks Donna

My husband & I both enjoyed this dish. I had some stewing beef to use up & this recipe was just what I was looking for - something different from the usual stews. We don't like super spicy food so I cut back the cayenne by half and that seemed just about right for us. Cooked it up in the wok & served it with brown rice & some stir fried veggies for a complete meal. Will make again!

Yeeowww! This was SPICY!! But we really liked it. I think the only thing I'll change next time is the amount of cayenne. Thanks for a wonderfully flavorful, quick and easy recipe. UPDATE: After making a few other dishes with my newly purchased cayenne, I've realized that it's not necessarily the amount of pepper in the recipe but the potency of the pepper that I have that was making this so spicy : )

Wonderful recipe! We had brown rice with the beef instead of white and it added a nice nutty flavor. I refrigerated the marinade overnight and it smelled so good. Loved the bit of kick from the cayenne, it worked well with the soy sauce and vinegar. The beef cooked quickly in my electric skillet and tasted great!
