This is so very good and simple to do. You could not have made a better recipe than this. Lots better than peas and carrrots!!! Thank You Char!!! Hugs

Hey Char though I am not a beginner I still made this dish and we throughly enjoyed it....So easy to put together...and tasty...I used more corn and less peas...that is 2 cups corn and 1 cup of peas...and just 1 spoon of butter...and WOW I can just go on eating this...loved it sooo much....So Thank U for posting this one.

Well, this did not turn out for us. Lack of flavor since butter, salt and pepper was put in with the water. I added just a little water and as the frozen corn and peas thawed caused a lot of water. I had to drain the water in the end which caused less flavor in the vegetables. Sorry

I make this all the time and thought that I was the only person on earth that enjoyed just frozen corn and peas with butter salt and pepper. Apparently I'm not! One of my favorite side dishes with everything. Glad you posted this!!

I love this recipe - I always drain well, and instead of salt/pepper, use GARLIC PEPPER SEASONING with the butter, I think this transforms it!
(in fact, I use Mrs. Dash salt free garlic pepper seasoning and it's fine) Hey, it's got lots of fiber and if you use lite butter it's lowfat too!

This is something my family has a lot, though we microwave it. We also like to have more corn, because some people don't like peas very much! But it does have a boring flavor.
