Fantastic! I skipped the oil, and just used some cooking spray. Also, I reduced the garlic down to 2 cloves based on personal preference. I made these for lunch today, and I keep going back to the kitchen to eat 'just one more'!

Totally delicious and very easy to make! I used slightly less oil and added about a teaspoon of lemon zest to the oil, and I sautéed five cloves of minced garlic in non-stick pan in about a tablespoon of butter. After drizzling the potatoes with the garlic and butter, I garnished them with fresh thyme leaves. We ate them with meatloaf and salad. They looked and tasted great! Thanks for sharing!

Perhaps it is a sign of how rare that butter visits me but these were gooooood. I did use butter but did lighten the recipe to suit my diet. For the initial cooking of the potatoes I simply sprayed them with olive oil cooking spray and roasted away until they were crispy brown on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. For the garlic coating I used half butter and half olive oil, using the eqivalent of 1 tablespoon of each. Doing so gave me a burst of flavor from both while still watching the calories. Made for Went to the Market game.

Deeee-lishus! Misreading the recipe and cutting them in 1/2 inch cubes (whoops!), these hash brown-type taters were devoured by all. I admit, however, to doubling the garlic
And I used half olive oil, half sunflower oil, no butter. Thanks, much enjoyed Nimz!

Loved it! These were a lovely and easy dinner after an out-and-about afternoon on a cool and windy day. My potatoes didn't really go crunchy though, but I think that I may not have used the most suitable type of roasting potato. DH announceed that we had some bacon bits that needed using so I threw those in as well and these were finished in a flash. Please see my rating system: a lovely 4 stars for a nice recipe that tastes great. Thanks Nimz!

Very nice and crispy. I did add some garlic powder as well but us garlic heads would have liked a little more flavor. Easy to fix though, thanks for sharing!

Great recipe for potatoes. I used a PAM cooking spray instead of all of that oil. I did however did not skimp on the butter with the garlic. This was an awesome recipe for oven fries.

Oh, this was good, and the right amount of garlic too. I have no complaints, and no suggestions on how to make this better because it is excellent just the way it is.

I made these for dinner last night for my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter. They were absolutely delicious. Crisp on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. The dog didn't get to sample them though...there were none left! Served with smothered pork chops and slices of fresh cantaloupe. Yummy!~ Thanks for the recipe.
