This recipe came in the booklet I got in my ice cream freezer and it is very good. I strained out the seeds from the puree before mixing in the rest of the ingredients. This is not very sweet at all so if you are looking for something sweet, this isn't it. I put it in a freezer container in the freezer and then microwaved for a minute or two when we wanted some ~ I do that with ice cream I buy from the store, too. This is a very fresh tasting recipe that is easy to make ~ especially since you use frozen berries so you can make it any time of the year!

Yum! I absolutely loved this. I used vanilla non fat yogurt, so I didn't add the vanilla, but otherwise, I followed the directions exactly. I gave the berries a quick whirl in the food processor, I left them kind of chunky because that's how I like it. I thought the taste and texture of this was excellent. I'll be using this as a go-to recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic stuff!! I whirred the berries in the food processor then added in the rest of the ingredients to mix. Then dumped in the Cusinart ice cream maker for a really easy treat that's yummy and healthy, too. Used frozen mixed berries, 1% milk and highly recommend Stonyfield Farm organic vanilla yogurt. We'll have this often, thanks for the recipe!

My sweetie and I enjoyed this with the rest of a Peach Crisp (recipe# 7478) they were great together. We used fresh black berrys that we picked ourselves and it came out very well. (I love summer) I also used honey instead of sugar and I like how it came out.

Soooooo good!!!!!!!!! I used frozen blackberries that I pureed and then strained of the seeds. I love the pretty purple color it turned!! I used Dannon vanilla yogurt in this. This is the best frozen yogurt I have ever had!! Nothing beats homemade and this tasted even better than homemade ice cream to me because it was lighter and the yogurt really enhanced the blackberries!! Love this recipe, will definitely make again and again!!!!!!
