Yum! I cut the beans into 1 inch pieces and cooked them for 10 minutes. After roasting the almonds in the butter, I added the cooked beans to the same pot and mixed it all together, so the beans borrowed some of the buttery flavour too!

Delicious way to fix green beans! I sliced the beans lengthwise in half and par boiled them for 5 minutes. When I sauted the almomds I let the butter get a little brown then put the drained beans in the pan and mixed it all together. Great flavor!! Thanks, Karen for a great new side dish!!

Marvelous and SUPER easy! I used whole frozen green beans and a little extra lemon juice. The almonds toasted up nicely and gave off a sweet flavor. I think I was the biggest fan of these around the Thanksgiving table, but that's considering I was the only one not eating turkey. I will definitely be making these again!

I made this as a Thanksgiving side dish. Everyone said they liked it, but nobody gushed about how great it was. It was very easy. I used frozen green beans.

Oops I made a mistake and forgot to french-cut my fresh beans, really nice flavor, but if I paid attention it would have had a more blended taste Thank You Karen from Colorado!

Very simple and delicious recipe Karen! My DH & I devored them even though I think next time we will use a little less Lemon Juice. I love the taste of almonds with green beans, thanks for posting your recipe.

Very good. Easy to make. We like nuts so I used about 1/3 cup of the almonds and it was great.I also used less lemon juice.

Made this for a Thanksgiving side dish. Instead of the typical Durkee onion topped green bean casserole, my family serves green beans almondine, and this recipe fit the bill! Loved the addition of lemon. Only thing is that I recommend cooking the nuts until they are brown, not just golden. Thanks very much!

I loved the way these beans plated up but me and my company were a little dissapointed in the flavor. I made them accordingly and went with frozen, but perhaps I would have had better luck with fresh. They just seemed to be a bit on the bland side. I'm submitting a photo of these in gratitude of your sharing Karen, thanks anyways.
