I was so hoping someone would post this Roasted Green Bean recipe from Cook's Illustrated! I usually do the plain version (green beans, olive oil, salt & pepper) but this variation is very good too. I think this is my favorite Christopher Kimball feature EVER. Two of us can easily finish off one pound of beans, and still be wanting more. I had posted copies of that article & recipes in the break room when this recipe came out last fall, and had several co-workers that raved about these beans. Thank you for posting a recipe that is sure to become a classic!

These beans were very good! The sauce was a unique blend of flavors. Next time I will probably use a little less olive oil, just as a personal preference.

Excellent! I added a little worchestester sauce to finish it at the end; we prefer using it to the low-sodium soy sauce (cheaper, I think) and it just seemed like it needed a little more 'juice'. Definitely a keeper, especially considering we pick bushels out of the garden!

Oh boy! Are these ever easy to eat!! Gives a whole new perspective to green beans. Easy to make, easy to eat (I guess I've said that already). I used black sesame seeds, toasted, and enjoyed the complimentary flavours of ginger and garlic. Served with garlic toast and steak, and Barolo red wine. Thanks!

There is a restaurant here that serves sesame green beans and they are awesome. I have been searching for a recipe for those beans for months, found this one, served them up for Easter dinner and everyone loved them. My neice, her mom and my other sister were fighting over the last serving of these beans.

These were very good green beans. I liked the contrast of the spicy red pepper flakes with the sweetness of the honey. We served them as a side to Hoisin Salmon. We will be making these again.

Great beans. I think I like them more that I like french fries. I made a couple of hand fulls of them for my hubby and I, but he got home from work late... and I had eaten them all!! Yummy

I made this a couple months ago and really liked it. This morning my husband asked when we were going to have those good green beans that I cooked in the oven again. Tonight. Thanks for a great recipe!
