I have made this wonderful cheesecake twice now - the first time I made it for a work potluck and got rave reviews! Everyone said it was better than the Cheesecake Factory's! A couple things I do in addition to what the recipe states are: 1) Run a clean knife through the batter after pouring it into the springform pan to get rid of any air bubbles, and 2) Place a pan full of water on the rack below the cheesecake in the oven. The extra humidity in the oven helps keep the top of the cheesecake from cracking while baking. Thanks for a great recipe!

    One of the best cheescakes ever! Got rave reviews. I added some cinnamon to the crust mixture and let it cool for awhile in the oven to preent cracking. Perfect cheesecake recipie!

    Excellent cheesecake! This was my first try at making a cheesecake. The recipe was very easy and the results were great. The only thing I may do differently next time is to add more crust up the sides. Thanks for a great recipe!

    Lennie this is so good!! I made this last nite for a cookout today. we just got home and I couldn't wait to tell you how everyone raved about it! I'm known for making great cheese cakes (thanks to good recipes like this) and they are always requested. I like to try new ones and this one will definitly go into my home made recipe book marked tried and wonderful! I followed your directions exact and had no problems. I topped it off with MissNezz's Caramel Apples In Rum Sauce I made just before we left. We have an apple tree so that's why I chose this topping,,one I wasn't sure the others would like as they love the chocolate kinds of toppings, but the topping was great on your cheese cake. Thanks so much, Lennie!! I'd give you 10 stars if only I could Kitty

    I LOVED this recipe!!! Many cheesecake recipes are just too sweet. This was just right! I made this for my daughter's birthday. Everyone at the party loved it. I used the suggestion of adding vanilla and almond extract. I also used strawberry pie filling as the topping. Heaven...I'm in Heaven....

    WOW WOW and WOW!!!!! if i could i would give this more than 5*'s i tried it with peach pie filling it's great!!! btw did i say it was WOW !!!!!

    This is identical to a recipe I have been using for years except I will use 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 2 teaspoons almond extract. The almond adds a nice taste. Keep the slices small as this is one rich, great cheesecake!

    My daughter who had asked that I make cheesecake for Thanksgiving was raving about this! I used a store bought grahm cracker crust to save time. I use 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I put cherry pie filling on top. Thank you Lennie for a keeper!

    Oh My GOD, How wonderful is this Cheesecake. I have never had an easier time making and eating this one!!!! Only reciep I will make for now on and have sent it to many friends that think the same as I. Simply Marvalous.!!!!!
