Tried this recipe.. wasn't what I remembered. not buttery kind of bland. and the top didn't brown in the time frame, had to bake a little longer. It produced large holes in the cakes instead of a tight crumb

This was good, light, soft and fluffy. But it tasted more floury than sweet. It didn't seem "buttery" at all to me. I followed the recipe exactly and don't think it's worth the effort to make again. Most of the people I shared it with liked it more than me.

i followed everything but it turns out so bland and not sweet or buttery. will not try it again not worth the effort and money
