14 Reviews of The Party Punch

From: CCinSC

On May 13, 2002

This was a big hit! I thought I had more than enough but had to make another batch 30 minutes into the party. Using a bundt pan for the mold and about 4 cups of punch, I froze the punch into a frozen punch ring to keep the punch nice and cold without diluting it with ice cubes.

Hi, We used this for our office party yesterday. All of my husbands patients loved it and it was easy. I did not include the oranges but made an ice ring with oranges in it which made if fabulous.

This punch was okay but I think the orange juice is a bit over powering. I think it would probably be alot better if the OJ was cut in half. I will try that next time.

I made this punch for my family Christmas get-together--it was a big hit with everyone! I love the added flavor of the orange juice, and the sliced oranges make it so pretty!

Tastes best with Orange juice that has lots of pulp.

This was a good punch. I made it for our Labor Day cookout. It had a nice flavor without being overly sweet. I added the orange slices to mine. I will make this again.

This is a great recipe. I used it for my Bridal shower and it was a big hit. I put the slices of oranges in there because it gives it the extra touch.

I made this punch for DD's wedding reception this past weekend. I made the punch on Friday, and taste tested it. It was way too orange juicy and I was beginning to think I had made a big mistake. By Saturday morning, the flavors had blended and it was really delicious! I would definitely recommend that this be made at least 1 day ahead. Since we used a fountain at the reception, I left out the orange slices and ice. Also, even though I used low pulp orange juice, I strained the oj before adding it in. This was strictly so the punch would flow well through the fountain. I don't think the lack of pulp affected the flavor at alland this will be by punch recipe from now on. Thanks for a great recipe!

I made this punch for our annual family Christmas. I couldn't keep the punch bowl full. I used the sliced oranges and added some sliced strawberrys. Also tastes good with Rum!
