This is an easy to make, tasty dessert with an impressive presentation. The dough is very simple (only three ingredients!) and is easy to work with as well. I wouldn't describe this recipe as labor intensive, but you do have to stand there and press 24 balls of dough into 24 mini muffin tins. It's not hard, but it takes a few minutes. This is the first recipe I made in my new mini-muffin tin and I was quite impressed. Also, since my pan was non-stick, the tassies popped right out. These freeze well.

These were great and would have been better if I would have thinned the crust out more when pressing it in the mini muffin pan. Nest time I think I will also refrigerate the dough beforehand to make it easier to work with. It gets a little crumbly when just at room temp.

These turned out very well and will surely be a hit at Christmas! Perfect--just how I remembered them as a child. A word of warning: Make sure not to overfill the cups! If you do, the brown sugar mixture will stick to the muffin tin and make it difficult to get your tassies out without damaging them.

This is the same recipe my friend's mother gave me. These are delicious and if you like pecan pies you'll love these miniature delights.

These are a holiday favorite that I have added to my Christmas cookie tray since I was a teenager. I am so glad to see the recipe posted here! I have refrigerated the dough for up to three days (wrapped in wax paper) before use with no resultant problems. These cookies freeze very well.

Made this a few weeks ago as a gift for my aunt who LOVES Pecan Pie. Really great recipe and I love the fact that you make them in a mini muffin tin. This was the first time I had ever heard of tassies and was really impressed with the end result. A bit time consuming (I recommend a cookie press) but that is also because I doubled the recipe and had only one mini muffin pan. They are well worth the time spent. EXCELLENT! Thank you for introducing me to the whole tassy idea. I will be making again in the near future!

These were so divine. What an easy recipe! I made the dough in a food processor (because I'm lazy). I did refrigerate the dough, but I had to let is sit at room temp before it was workable. I had a bit of trouble getting a couple of them from the pan, so I ate them. Problem solved.
