I'd never made fudge this way before so I thought I would try it out. This just didn't work out for me. I followed the directions but my fudge was nothing more then a thick pudding. I am usually successful when it comes to candy making. The mixture started out glossy and I know if I had spooned it out, it would have run everywhere. I stirred until I thought my arm would fall off and it just barely got thicker. My goop didn't taste all that great to me either. I will stick with the long method, I think. These directions may need some more details. Made for The Name Game in honor of my Grandmother, 2008. Thanks for sharing.
