These were SO good! Absolutely delicious and addictive..plus very clever decoration for a Halloween themed party. I needed a lot more white dipping chocolate though, I used almost an entire 24 ounce package...12 ounces was not quite enough to coat the 40 eyeballs, and you still need additional white chocolate to tint blue for the eye centers.

I love these--they're like an extra creepy Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. I ran out of dipping chocolate when I made mine, so next time I will buy an extra bar just to be sure. I also used a new clean paintbrush to put on the blue iris color and the red squiggles. (I tried the toothpick method first, but the paintbrush was much easier.) I'm going to make these every Halloween now! Thanks Dee.

hi! okay - please keep in mind that I am NOT creative - so I had to sort of 'make it work'... I used bark from the grocery store and it was a 20oz pkg... plenty!! I did have to thin it out quite a bit... I tried to use the microwave - save yourself the frustration and just use a double boiler (or a tempered glass bowl over a pot of water)... also - I used a fork to dip this babies... waaaay better (at least for me) since my eyes were so damn big i used red gel frosting in the tube and it was fine... then I cheated somemore and bought a tube of blue frosting for the 'iris'... I posted a photo, and while it was a good first effort... I think they worked!! Also, after scooping my eyeballs - I froze them - I highly recommend doing this because the PB didn't melt into the white bark... Boo!

I made these with my 6 year old daughter and we had such a fun time! Although I have a lot to learn about the properties of melted white chocolate, these turned out great looking and great tasting. Thanks so much for posting..really enjoyed this recipe!

These cookies are too cute for words! My three year old loves them, and had fun helping with the detail work at the end. Next time, I will make the balls smaller. The peanut butter sort of overpowered the chocolate and I think if they were smaller it would be more balanced. I would also recommend chilling the dough longer than 1/2 hr. before making the balls. When I first started making them, after the recommended time, I could tell they were just too sticky to roll. After an hour it was much easier. Thanks! They were a hit!

These were a hit. Folks at work loved them. You will probably need more dipping chocolate (white bark) than 12 oz. so buy extra to be safe.

These were so much fun! We had a pretty big snowstorm here in Denver today & my son was home from school. He LOVES Halloween & we made these cookies. I had to improvise since I couldn't get to the store & so I used what I had. No peanut butter, so I subbed Nutella. Didn't have almond bark, subbed melted white chocolate chips. These are fun & make a great way to get kids hands into food... at least my son! This is going into my tried & true cookbook under my holiday section! Thanks for a fun recipe!

These are fantastic! Not only do they taste like chocolate-coated peanut butter fudge (YUM), but they are really fun too! I made these for an early Halloween party and served these on a platter with an old pair of glass set up and a couple face-less eyeballs looking through them! Man, am I sick! I'm having WAY too much fun with this! Thanks for a fun and tasty recipe, Chef Dee!!

I forgot to rate these but actually, I was asked to bring them to a christmas party so I looked up the recipe again!! I plan on making these into christmas ornaments with sprinkles or something. The host of the halloween party said, oh sould you bring the eyeball cookies that were so good because the kids devoured them before any adults could eat them. That's quite a glowing review if you ask me!!! I will post a picture of the Christmas version!!! Thanks for posting Chef Dee!!
