Thanks Mitjam! I'd been looking for a good cajun seasoning, and this was terrific. I had it on skinless, boneless chicken breast done on the BBQ., sliced the chicken and served it on ceasar salad. Yummmmy!

Mirj, you were a life/recipe saver last night! I was making #39087 Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta by Lorac last night and realized I didn't have any cajun seasoning. So, I turned to zaar and came across your perfect recipe! Only made 1/4 of the recipe as that was all I needed for the dish I was preparing. Should have made more because the combination of spices was perfect. Thanks again Mirj for bailing me out at the last minute and will definately be making this $$$$ saving mix again. Agree with another reviewer that this sure beats buying the stuff!

Wow! This is very spicy!!! I made a batch to sprinkle on some chicken breasts for sandwiches. It was a little hot for me, but my hubby loved it. I didn't have any white pepper and just omitted it, but the taste was still good. Thanks for posting, Mirj!

Excellent! I use it on almost everything. The balance of flavor is perfect. Another reason I love it is because, unlike other cajun seasonings, it has no salt and for those of us on low sodium diets, that's a big PLUS!I wasn't gonna review this. But since I found myself coming back to it to make more and more, I finally decided to!

I love these "save $$$" type of recipes!! This was really good. I did kick it up a bit by adding some other spices as well. Sure beats buying the stuff. Thanks again Mirj

This recipe saved my bacon last night. I keep a very well stocked spice/ seasoning pantry, so imagine my surprise last night when making gumbo for dinner, and I don't have any cajun seasoning. Actually, I was supposed to use creole seasoning, but I was so flustered about not having an item that I was sure I had, I searched for the wrong recipe on zaar.
To make a long story short,
I found this and ran back to the kitchen to save my gumbo. Thank you! I'm thinking I might like to have some of this seasoning on some grilled chicken and/or steamed vegetables as well.

Even though there are plenty of stars here, I must add mine. I got caught with my proverbial pants down, so to speak, in the middle of a recipe, and no cajun spice! Like another member says, Zaar came through. And Mirjy, you are a lifesaver! even though
