Excellant meatloaf! Although I did leave out the brown sugar, felt the cranberry sauce was enough. I used homemade cranberry sauce left from the Holidays, spread down the middle of the meatloaf. I only had one pound of extra lean ground beef so mine came out a bit smaller, but it was delicious! and held together well. Great seasonings! DH loved it too and I will be making it again, thanks for sharing.

Was a tasty meatloaf, the topping gave it that little 'extra'. The books are good too. =)

My husband liked this meatloaf and he's really finicky about such things. He was not impressed with the idea of using cranberry sauce, but we both liked the sweet-tart flavor on top of the dish. I used Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs and added a little dry mustard, as suggested by another rater. Good stuff!

This is a departure from the same old meatloaf and was a refreshing change. I prepared as presented here but wonder if a little dry mustard might give it a little more character. Next time, I'll try it in two pans and do a back to back test. Thanks mysterygirl!

I love cranberries and this was a nice touch. The texture of the meatloaf is great - you can slice it but it is not too firm. I served it with black asparagus and a green bean/carrot casserole, Thanks for a keeper

This is my family's new favorite meatloaf. And so good in sandwiches the next day.

A little too sweet for my taste but good. Be sure a drain the meat loaf before inverting onto a plate or you'll get melted cranberry sauce/brown sugar/grease mixture all over the place.

This was good and a bit different from other meatloaves. My guests really liked it. I found it a bit too sweet though. Easy to do.

I love this meatloaf. I like things "sweet" and this was just right. I always thought Mrs. Cobb sounded like she was a good cook! I used homemade cranberry sauce because it has nice whole cranberries in it.
