This is a great comfort food recipe. My whole family loves it and it's soooo easy. It is a regular on our dinner table ever since you first shared it with me.

Absolutely loved it Emaw! I had leftovers for 2 days, as it makes a bunch, and that was allright with me because I ate it for brekky, lunch and dinner.I used my canned tomatoes, and my canned tomatoe sauce and it was super good for such simple ingredients. Topped it with some grated cheddar after it was cooked, served it with your cornbread and some fried okra from our garden and was a wonderful meal. Thanks Emaw/Riff

This is one of my favorite Emaw recipes... It is even better the next day as leftovers! The only change I make is to use red bell pepper instead of green (personal preference). Thanks for getting it on paper mom!

My hubby absolutely LOVES this recipe. It's truely comfort food for him, and is very much like his departed Gramma's recipe. I'm so glad you finally posted it!

I served this on a cold winter night. Perfect comfort food. The recipe makes lots of goulash. It made enough for three guys and a girl with a mans appetite and we still had leftovers! I used three 8 oz, cans of tomato sauce instead of 15 ounce can. I also covered and simmered finshed goulash for 30 minutes. Riff, give Emaw a hug!

Very good and very yummy. I only had 8 oz of tomatoe sauce so I added some catsup. I was out of parsley. I added some crushed red pepper. Thanks for posting.

I'm waiting for DH to get home to eat this, but I can't quit "sampling"! This is sooooo good. I added hot paprika, chili powder, and a can of chili diced tomato sauce (this was an accident!). I also added some shredded cheese. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. And thanks to Emaw, too!

My hat is off to Emaw! Delicious, quick and filling ~ with enough leftovers for tomorrow as well : ) I made as directed, only subbing San Giorgio macaroni for the Dreamfield
I seasoned with only salt and pepper, which was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks so much for sharing your mom's recipes with us, Riff.
