Now this is what coffee should taste like! I just tried this for my morning coffee today. It was so easy to make, although I halved the recipe to make only 2 cups of coffee. I used brown sugar instead of piloncillo. Thanks for this super-yummy recipe!

Very good. Even though you said "not Instant", I used instant coffee anyways. Works for me!

This was wonderful! The way coffee should taste. I got some great coffee off of ebay, but never was thrilled with the way it tasted in my coffee maker. This made it turn out perfectly. I too added a bit more coffee and I also added about one to two teaspoons of vanilla which I think really improved the flavor. Thanks so much for posting!

I really liked the way this added flavor to my regular roast. Like Chef Kate, I will be making this again! Since we drink strong coffee, I doubled the coffee amount after reading the reviews.

I added the cinnamon stick with the coffee grinds in the coffee drip maker. Added the piloncillo and using this method found no reason to strain.

I also used a little more coffee, as we like our coffee strong. It was a delicious change from my regular after dinner coffee, the cinnamon added a great flavour!

I like my coffee strong so I used the equivalent of 4 heaping teaspoons of coffee and added Splenda brown sugar. This was still a bit too sweet for me but the co-workers loved it. I did love the cinnamon and the richness the brown sugar added.
