Wonderful, and different from the usual chicken salads--a nice, fresh departure from the "same old". Except for halving it, I followed the recipe as written. Loved the addition of jalapenos.
Thanks for sharing the recipe!

This was one of the best chicken salad recipes I have ever made/had. The only thing I did different was use fresh jalepenos and added one serrano chili. I love spicy food. Thank you for submitting it.

Another one of my Pick a Chef 2006 "chosen ones" — This was great chicken salad! I just made this for lunch, and everyone really enjoyed it. I made it into wraps with flour tortillas, lettuce, tomato, pickles (we put pickles on ALL sandwiches in my house lol) and a sprinkling of shredded Mexican four-cheese blend. I didn't have any non-gnarly-looking fresh limes on hand for juicing, so I subbed a packet of True Lime instead. I think next time I make this, I might even add some black beans to it (just a thought). Funny thing, I actually have the issue of Cooks Country that this came from, and really didn't even give this recipe any thought when I read it in the magazine. See, sometimes I just need someone else to boot me in the butt and point out the gems (thank heaven for Recipezaar, or else I'd be really missing out at times!). Thanks for posting!

This was delicious! I sent this with DH for lunch one day and he really raved about it... and he normally dislikes chicken. The only change I made was leaving out the celery. I'll definitley make this again. Thanks Velouria!

This is wonderful change from traditional chicken salad! I didn't use celery or red pepper due to family tastes and used yellow onion. This was great!! Thanks for sharing!

My husband LOVES jalapenos so any way I can incorporate them into a recipe especially for him, I do. This was delicious and something we both liked. I did make sure to really finely chop the red onion and celery because he doesn't normally like the crunch of those (raw) and he loved it. Thanks so much for posting!

This was yummy! I skipped the cilantro because we don't like it and use parsley instead. Also I left out the celery. Next time I will add a bit more jalapeno.. This is going to be even better tomorrow!

Oh, yum! This is really, really good! I had to use green pepper because it was all I had. I loved it on tostada shells. Delicious! Thanks!

Awesome chicken salad. Substituted diced jalapenos for the jalapeno relish. Otherwise made as listed. Will be making this on a regular basis.
