How wonderful! I used to love those suddenly salad packages, too, and this was just like I remembered them to be. I have made two batches this last week. It is such a good thing to have in the fridge when you need to have a bite to eat on the run. A few capers add a nice touch or some sliced black olives. Thanks dear, I love it!

Wow! Good stuff! I used almost all the package of seasoning, left out the peas, (none of us are wild about peas) and I also added a little sour cream. (about a 4th of a cup - didn't measure)Very tasty and easy to make. Thanks!

Absolutly perfect. We can still get the Suddenly Salad mixes in California but they are over $3.00 a box. This tasted as good or better, made more, cost less and used ingredients I usually have on hand. Will make this again. Thank you for sharing.

yep, really close to the real deal. (and I agree, it is even better!) For me, the ranch was a bit much, so I will use a bit less next time. The kids really enjoyed it!

This was very good. I fried up some real bacon and used sweetlets peas. This will be on the table at the next potluck lunch at our church.

This is SO fast and SO simple and SO versatile and SO good! I often crave pasta salads, but wanted something I could throw together in the blink of an eye and make additions to when in the mood. Here it is! What I DIDN'T want was something so good I'd eat 4 bowls of it in less than half a day. :o| I used 1/2 of a 1-oz package of the buttermilk version of the ranch mix for personal preference after trying it both ways. I accidentally forgot the peas the second time, but it was YUMMAGE anyway! Thanks for this great recipe!

Just as good as the SS, only tasted like homemade! I used real bacon and approx 8 oz of dry shell pasta. Next time I'll add just a bit of milk or cream to make it creamier. I used only 2/3 of the ranch package after readign some of the reviews. TY for posting!

Very good salad. The only thing I had to change was the meat. I didn't have bacon, so I grilled one chicken breast and cut it up. Also, I didn't thaw the peas, just let them stay cold ( I find when I thaw them, they get mushy). Like some of the other reviewers, I felt the ranch was a little strong, at first, but after setting in the fridge for a while, it seemed to be the perfect amount when the salad was really cold. A nice pasta salad, I'm excited to try with other kinds of pasta, and some additional added vegetables. Thanks!

Taste just like the boxed variety, but much better. Loved by all and will make again. Thanks
