Oh my gosh leave it to zaar to help me find the most different, best tasting cookie recipes. Laurie I had these cooking and when our son came home said Mom, what is cooking, got one and then started scarfing them down.. I did take laurie's suggestion and used mini chocolate chips. We love the regular wedding cakes and with the cinnamon and chocolate chips was amazed at the flavor of this cookie. I started getting creative and rolled some in powder sugar and drizzled chocolate over some and thought I wonder at christmas if I can get the green and red frosting and make designs too lol These are sooo tasty, very easy and it smells like christmas in our house right now.. You make me want to get the tree out, thanks for a great recipe. Hope everyone gives these delicate, yummy cookies a try.. Thanks for a keeper..

Excellent cookies! They only lasted about a day at my house, so I'm gonna double the recipe when I make these again.

Tender melt-in-your mouth cookies that really aren't sweet yet still are delicious and cinnamon-y. I baked one cup of Hershey's Mini Chips in the cookies then melted additional semi-sweet chocolate chips to drizzle over them. We enjoyed this variation of Mexican Wedding Cookies and will again ~ Thanks!

I made these for work tomorrow but only about half, if that will make it to work. I forgot to put a note on them " Do Not touch" What I personaly liked about them, besides being really good, is that they stayed together. Not dry at all. Thank You Lauralie41 for posting this recipe for us.

These cookies were great for the Mexican themed Super Bowl party. I didn't want to bring another Mexican dip. The texture reminds me of almond cresent cookies, my favorite! Thanks for the recipe, we will use it again.

I've made these 3 times already and everytime a big hit...I leave out the chocolate topping becasue it's just too missy but it's 5plus stars without it. Every one who tried it ask me for the recipe.

Very nice biscuits and so easy to make! To me they tasted a lot like melting moments with choc and nuts added - I used almonds. Very buttery but they hold together well. The instructions were perfect - the only mistake I made was cutting back a little on the cinnamon as I'm not a huge fan - don't do this, use the full amount as the flavour is excellent! Thanks for posting Lori!

Theses were very easy to make and the cookie was to be very soft and tender, much like a shortbread. Decided to do something diferent and used pecans in my cookies. Also, I added mini chips which appeared to be a good choice given the size of the cookie. Ultimately, I chose to skip the chocolate on the top as it felt a bit like gilding the lily - as the cookies were so rich and delicious without it. After the fact it occured to me a great touch might have been to roll the hot cookies in a mix of powdered sugar (traditional) mixed with cocoa and cinnamon (the twist). These were served at a potluck and gone in a heartbeat competely for attention with some pretty fancy fare. Thanks Lauralie.

These are so yummy! What could be better than cinnamon and chocolate? Mine didn't turn out as pretty as the ones in the photo, but that's because I cut too big of hole in the ziploc baggie. Anyway, looks aside, I'll definitely be making these again! My whole family loves them.
