I went back and forth between 4 and 5 stars on this...can I choose 4-1/2? :o) I made it exactly as written and it was easy and tasty, a hit with the kids. It had a strong, almost-overpowering honey taste, though (at least to my palate...afraid personal preference kicks in here!) I remade it with only 1/2 c honey and added cinnamon and salt and it was great; the oat flavor really shone through. It was also good both ways with dried fruit added in after it cooled. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks!

When i foudn this recipe i was actually looking for a different one but found this recipe which was exactly the same as the one i was looking for. Its a great recipe and i make it once a week to keep us going with cereal as me and the kids love this stuff. I do however add a few extra bits. We change it every week some weeks we add banana chips, or bran, or raisins, or coconut. Great recipe Thanks

This is a very simple, easy recipe for granola. I tweaked it slightly though. It's a bit too sweet and strong with so much honey. I also didn't have the wheat germ or sunflower seeds (and don't like either) so I added an extra cup of oats, cut back on the honey by about a 1/3 cup, and added cinnamon and nutmeg. It was delicious. This is a great starter recipe and you can just add the things you like to taste! Once you make it once, you no longer need a recipe. Just have fun wtih it!

A good basic granola that is easy to dress up with fresh or dried fruit. It is a bit sweet, even the kids thought so, so next time I'll cut back on the honey some. I used butter instead of oil and it worked well. My favorite thing about this granola is the walnuts. They add a different flavor that I really enjoy. Thanks for sharing Mirj!
