I made this for Zaar World Tour III this was very good soup. I thought I picked up red lentils from the supermarket but it they turned out to be green but I still used them in the soup. This didn't take away from the taste, it was wholesome and healthy soup. Perfect for Victorian winters, thank you Stardustannie

This was so nice, especially on a cold night like last night! This is the perfect winter soup, and it's quick and easy as well. Thanks for a real keeper!!! Made for ZWT 3.

Such an easy and quick soup to make. Lots of flavour and the lentils gave this soup protein and body. I used gluten-free curry powder and stock cubes to suit my diet. Thanks for a very tasty soup recipe that I'll be making again

This is good but I did sauteed the onion, garlic and dryed chili flakes in butter before I added in the other ingredients, I also increased the curry powder and used half water and half chicken broth and omitted the stock cubes, Even though I changed the directions slightly for this recipe I am still giving this 5 stars because the taste was very good and my DH really enjoyed the soup, thanks for sharing hon!...Kitten

So easy! This was fairly quick too. I used chicken style vegetarian broth, halved the recipe for my lunch. I finally found red lentils-it took awhile. I used homemade curry powder. Thanks!

This was a great soup, and super easy too. Throw everything into a pot and let it cook, then blend it for a smooth creamy soup consistancy. I used bottled veggie chicken style granules instead of cubes and the pre-packed minced garlic that comes in olive oil. I did leave out the cayenne, since I don't like spicy, and it was perfect. I did have to go to Wild Oats, an organic grocery store, to find the red lentils, but I bought them from the bulk bins and paid under a dollar for the amount I needed for this recipe. Definitely a keeper.

Very quick and easy. A mild curry flavor (which is what my BF prefers). I used a vegetable stock called Better than Bouillon. As you know, stock is important to soup and can tranform any good soup recipe into something fantastic! Like Sharon, I did not bother with the pureeing step as I don't have an immersion blender and I didn't want to bother with a regular blender or food processor. This recipe is high in vitamin A and fiber too. Little effort, excellent output. Thanks!

Fantastic soup tasted even better the next day when i took it to work the next day. I love the savouryness the curry power gives it. Lovely easy recipes thank you! ZWT3.

I made a half portion of this for the DM and myself for lunch and it was delicious, I did use home made vegetable stock which gave the soup lots of flavour along with the fresh vegies and that slight spicy taste from the madras hot curry powder (only added 1 teaspoon). Thank you Stardustannie, made for Edition 8 - Make My Recipe.

I made this the other day and I'm not sure if I was a little heavy on the curry powder, or if my vege stock cubes were to blame, but it was extremely salty. Will have to try again with less of each to see. Was also pretty watery.
