I had a friend who served this bread to me a long time ago and I have been making it ever since. It is sooooo yummy! We even make it a little more sinful (or at least her recipe was) she puts a half a stick of butter (the real stuff) in the mix.

This made part of a delicious lunch. The bread got all nice and toasty and was so good. I did scale this down for 1 person. Thanks for posting!

Fantastic! I omitted the garlic and red pepper. Next time I'm going to substitute the italian seasoning with a ranch dressing mix packet.

YUM! Made this with Texas Toast rather than french bread and it worked wonderfully. This toppping is zesty and tasty and really makes a yummy side! I used fresh garlic and probably more red pepper than a dash- ooppsie! Thanks for a great recipe Nimz!

Wonderful bread! Have never used mayonnaise on garlic bread but will be making this recipe from now on. I used finely shredded cheddar cheese and this melted very nicely on the bread. Thank you NimrodCook for a great recipe!
