From: Carrie Richman

I used lemon juice (because that's all I had) and it turned out wonderful! The kids loved it!

I go to Cracker Barrel quite often but I have never had their chicken tenders so I don't know if this recipe is similar to theirs or not. I can, however, say that these chicken tenders were quite tasty. I will definitely be making these again but I would like them to have a little more zip. So im thinking that if I add a little more lime juice it would be even better. Thanks for a great recipe!

Yummy. I have used italian dressing as a marinade for years. I didn't know the addition of a little honey and lime would make the flavor so much better. I marinated overnight and it still turned out fine. Thanks!

I get the chicken tenders from Cracker Barrel 99% of the time and these were almost exactly the same! They were moist and flavorful, not too sweet. Hubby and I gobbled these up! This was quick and EASY as it gets. I will be making this as often as possible! I served it w/ asparagus and baked cherry tomatoes w/ parmesan from this site and it was quite the dinner!

These tenders were very tasty, and my whole family liked them, but they did not quite taste like the Cracker Barrel ones to me. I'm guessing the key is the Italian dressing used. I used regular Wishbone Italian, and while we did enjoy, as I said, I might try another brand next time. Definitely easy and a keeper.

This tasted just like the Cracker Barrel tenders! I followed the recipe exactly as-is (except I didn't measure my honey, I just poured to my liking, it was probably more like 1 1/2 tbsp of honey. I wish I would have made more! It's cheaper then paying $8.99 for the dish and the tip for the service . Do NOT bake these, they will not turn out the same and as tasty, you must pan fry them. I'm thrilled to have found this recipe, when I visit Cracker Barrel from now on, I'll be able to try new dishes since I was got the tenders, but now that I can make them from home, I don't have to wait for our next Cracker Barrel visit . YUM!! Definitely a keeper and we'll be making on a regular basis.

Tastes just like CB tenders. I have made this twice. Once with fresh lime and one with bottled and I could definetly taste the difference. I suggest stick with real lime and it is fantastic. Thank you!

We marinated the chicken 24hrs then we baked it. We did not care for this recipe not sure what was wrong but didn't like the flavor.
