These were great!! I followed the recipe..and got a pan of chocolatey, moist, yummy brownies!! I'm afraid we skipped the frosting..neither of us are to fond of it..but sprinkled a little powdered sugar...and we were in heaven!! Thank you Cheryl!!!

These are fabulous! my husband asked for chocolate and I wanted something special-this was perfect. The cakelike brownies are moist and the frosting is rich and decadently sweet. My swedish grandpa would have loved these too. Thanks!

I made this for my daughter and son in law, visiting and they loved it(of course, so did I!) I didn't have expresso or coffee made so added water with a little expresso powder. Yum! I made this for the Scandinavian dessert challenge.

After reading the list of ingredients and the four 5 star reviews and with NoraMarie’s photograph as a further enticement, I succumbed to the decadent chocolate delights that this recipe promised. ncmysteryshopper’s instructions were easy to follow, which was important to me, as I don’t often make such recipes. These brownies – made for the 2005 Zaar World Tour – were absolutely delicious: something a true chocolate-oholic would certainly expect to be fed on in paradise. The only tricky thing was to not eat too many. Everyone loved them and there were mumblings between mouthfuls of my making them again soon and looks of incomprehension – they just didn’t want to hear this – when I said “not until the tour is over”! But I will be making these again: a culinary memento of our visit to Scandinavia!

Yummy! very good and easy, i love brownies that have frosting on them! Used dark chocolate all the way and the addition of coffee was wonderful!!
