Excellent recipe. I doubled the amount of meat and spread cheese over the top during the last 10 minutes of cooking. I also more than doubled the amount of taco seasoning and added 2Tbsp each cumin and chili powder.

Simple and delicious. I added half of an onion to the meat and mashed the potatoes with milk. I wouldn't try to impress any guests with this or anything, but it's good for the family

Excellent recipe! I really enjoyed this dish tonight as did the rest of the family - including the kids. Instead of canned corn niblets, I used 1 cup of frozen corn kernels (I don't think we get canned corn niblets here in Australia) plus I used the whole sachet of taco seasoning mix along with some water because frozen veges tend to suck up the water from these types of dishes. I used 1kg beef mince & 1kg potatoes & don't tell the kids but I snuck in a cup and a half of grated carrot! There are 4 in our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and we had enough remaining for my husband's lunch the next day. Thanks for a great recipe Terri

This will be a repeat dish. Easy and yummy. Next time I won't drain the corn and will use a full packet of taco seasoning. Thanks!

This was really good! I doubled it and put it in a 9x13 pan. Now we have lunch tomorrow! I followed exactly but,I was VERY LAZY and bought Country Crock mashed potatoes that were already prepared. Tasted wonderful though. Thumbs up all around! Thanks!!

This was really really good. Both my hubby and I loved it. It was so easy as I always have cooked ground beef in the freezer to make meals such as this. I used the whole pkg of taco seasoning as we like spicy stuff. I will definitely be making it again. Thanks for the recipe

This was a great recipe! I made only a few adjustments: I used ground turkey instead of beef and added some diced onion and a can of black beans, high protein low fat!!!

I made this for Pick a Chef Fall 2005 and it was great. I used taco seasoning Bulk Taco Seasoning Mix. I froze the leftovers and I think they would be a great addition to my OAMC collection, thanks for posting

This is a good variation of a traditional comfort food. I made this tonight for something different, and it came out wondefully. I used the entire taco seasoning packet, and it tasted great. Thanks for a good recipe!

My husband does not like Sheperds pie, but really liked it this way. I will be able to put Sheperds pie back on the menu - Thanks!!!
