The stroganoff is not only delicious, but easy to prepare. The recipe is wonderful just as it is, but I did add a 1/2 cup of Cream Sherry along with 1/2 cup of water and loved it that way, too. Great recipe, Andrea!

I made this for my family but didnt try it myself (hubby and I are on a low fat crusade) 3 adults and 2 kids were making some very appreciative noises and '5 stars' was echoed around the dining room..so 5 stars it is!

This is the best hamburger stroganoff recipe I have tried. I served with egg noodles and a veggie on the side. My kids enjoyed it and it is a quick meal for weeknights. I hope you try it!

I wanted a recipe without the proverbial cream of mushroom soup and this one fit the bill. The only change I made was to use a cup of beef broth instead of water. I think that extra flavor really brought it all together. I also added about a teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Very easy to make and on the table in less than an hour. Thanks for a great recipe!
