That sounds a lot like my huge hit, the only thing I do differently is I add 2 Tablespoons of the Italian dressing to the drained pasta while it's still hot, not too much more or the taste is over whelming. The hot pasta sucks up the dressing and adds more flavor....Here's to a winner! Unabit

Great pasta salad! I'm usually not one for pasta salads, but this was great. I made it for a baby shower and it was a great success. I would use a zesty or spicy Italian dressing. I used the regular and it needed a little kick. I added some balsamic vinegar and a little Japanese 5 pepper spice and it was delicious.

Really good, really easy. I made this to go with BBQ hamburgers, and it was a big hit. The colored pasta made it pretty as did the colors of the other ingredients. I used grape tomatoes cut in half and T. Marzetti Light Caesar Vinegarette dressing. Can't wait for our next potluck at work; I'm going to take this!

I have made this twice now and really enjoy it...it's a kid pleaser too. I substitute sliced string cheese (kind of like its cubed - mozarrella cheese), Good Season's Italian dressing (made the lighter way with more water than oil) and cherry tomatoes cut into 4ths. VERY Good!

I made it for a work potluck. We had a vote for best home-made food. It tied for first place. I made it again for a picnic but with balsamic dressing and kalamata olives. A big hit again.
